Are You a THINKER or a DRIVER?

Are you a thinker or a driver?
As Ben Franklin once said: “Drive thy business, lest thy business drives thee.”
The first quarter of the year is gone already gone… What do you want to achieve this year?
Do you want things to turn out differently than last year?
If so, it’s time to ask yourself a VERY important question:
======================================================
Are You a THINKER or a DRIVER?
======================================================
THINKERS think about what they want to achieve and then rethink it and rethink it again. (You may have heard this referred to as “paralysis by analysis”.)
Drivers think things through enough to make informed decisions, take action and then measure their results.
THINKERS worry about making the “right” decisions and won’t take action until they are sure they’re doing things right.
DRIVERS gather enough facts and information to reasonably accomplish the task, then plunge in. Knowing all along that it is in the DOING that they will find out the information to do it right.
THINKERS worry about making mistakes, failing and not being good enough.
DRIVERS worry about these things too. And take action anyway.
======================================================
When a DRIVER succeeds many people will say “He’s sure lucky…”
But get a group of DRIVERS in a room and spend some time talking to them and you’ll find out they don’t attribute their successes to luck, exceptional skill, or even a great realm of knowledge.
They simply attribute their success to the fact that they knew when to take ACTION.
=========================================================
People aren’t born THINKERS or DRIVERS.
It’s something we learn as we go through life.
I was not always a DRIVER.
I was a THINKER through and through.
Growing up I was taught to be a THINKER.
Taught that making mistakes was bad.
Taught to get all my ducks in a row and THEN take action.
I was continually told …
“If a job’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right.”
Now I don’t blame those who told me that - they were raised as THINKERS too.
But several years ago I realized that all the successes I’d achieved in my life to that point had come from the ACTIONS I had taken.
And in that moment, my life changed forever.
From that point on, I became a DRIVER.

What would you like to see happen in your business this year?
- Would you like to use eBay to generate an additional income of $1000 per month?
- Maybe find a way to work from home and generate extra cash instead of putting in overtime away from home at your JOB.
- Or find a way to run your online retail business better, faster and more efficiently so you can spend more time with your family.
Grab a few quiet moments this week and ask yourself what you are going to DO differently this year?
If you’re not sure where your eBay business is going or what to do next, our Holistic Business Review(tm) will give you a clear snapshot of what’s working well in your business, what you need to change, and what steps you need to take to move into the future.
