eBay Cancels eBay Live for 2009!
By Lisa Suttora | May 5, 2008
Rumors have been running rampant the past several months that 2008 was to be the last eBay Live! ever.
eBay has been refuting these rumors, but an announcement today reveals that although eBay will not be canceling eBay Live! permanently, they will be taking a break from holding the annual convention in 2009.
Lorrie Norrington, President of eBay Marketplace just announced that in 2009, eBay will spend more time on the road - traveling to smaller venues in an effort to talk to more community members face-to-face.
eBay Live! is scheduled to return in August 2010 and will be held in Orlando.
If you’ve been on the fence as to whether or not attend eBay Live! this year, this announcement is good impetus to make the trip.
eBay Live! is a great place to get re-energized about your business, spend three days learning how to build a better eBay business from the experts, a fantastic place to network with people and make new friends, and a unique combination of business and fun!
It’s like nothing else you’ve ever experienced before!
